Childhood is a time like no other. It is a time for exploring… for creating… for discovering about oneself… for meeting the world… for learning how to learn… for being accepted “just the way I am.” It is a time for blossoming and being cherished… a time for being allowed the time to be a child. Our childcare center administrator and caregivers are committed to the belief that children have achieved… that is, they CAN DO a lot. It is the role of the caregivers to build upon those things that children can do. We believe that much of life’s learning – including how to learn – occurs in the first five years of life. Since each child learns at their own pace, our staff will look to them to decide how to support the next stage of development. This “can do” approach is the basis of our philosophy. This “can do” viewpoint allows the children we serve to become confident and to enjoy successes in an atmosphere of respect, warmth, and love.

We offer full-time weekday service for children from 12 months old through preschool age.

STC ECLC Hours
7:00 am – 5:30 pm
Monday through Friday

For our 3- and 4-year-olds, families have the flexibility to choose the option that works best for their child and schedule. During the school year, children can attend preschool in the morning and daycare for the remainder of the day, daycare in the morning and preschool in the afternoon, preschool only, or daycare only. This allows families to create a schedule that fits their needs while giving children the opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy time with their friends throughout the day.
Our childcare center is licensed by the Kentucky Cabinet for Health & Family Services, Division of Regulated Child Care (DRCC). Our license and recent licensing compliance reports are available in our lobby for parents to review. We follow all Kentucky childcare licensing requirements and are regularly monitored to ensure we continue to meet the state’s standards for health, safety, and quality care. Our license is renewed on time, and our staff participates in ongoing professional development to continue learning and to provide the best possible care for your child.
Your child’s safety, well-being, and happiness are our top priorities. We are committed to providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment where every child can learn and grow.

We believe that great childcare starts with a great team. Our staff works closely with parents, colleagues, and volunteers to create a caring, supportive, and positive environment for every child. We carefully select our staff and complete background checks before employment. Our team also participates in the Protecting God’s Children for Adults program through the Diocese of Covington, as well as ongoing Virtus updates. We believe learning never stops. Our staff participates in continuing education and training in areas such as CPR and First Aid, child development, child safety, recognizing and preventing child abuse, communicable diseases, and effective teaching practices. Our classroom teachers complete at least 15 hours of Cabinet-approved early care and education training each year, helping us stay informed and continue to provide the highest-quality care for your child.
Our goal is to have a team you can trust—people who care about your child, support their growth, and treat every child with patience, kindness, and respect.
